Doors
Step 1: Open your kitchen cupboard door you wish to measure
Step 2: Take your tape measure and measure the back of the door from top to bottom in millimetres
Step 3: Measure the back of the door again but this time horizontally from one side to the other in millimetres
Step 4: You will now have the height and width of the door
Drawer Fronts
Step 1: Pull out the drawer
Step 2: Take your tape measure and measure the face of the drawer front from top to bottom in millimetres
Step 3: Measure horizontally from one side to the other in millimetres
Notes
-
Try to keep the tape measure as straight as possible
-
Avoid accessories or grooves such as hinges, handles or door design that may affect getting an accurate measure
-
Always note down the measurement after taking it and always measure height first
-
Double check your measurements - As the saying goes, measure twice cut once
-
If your current door measures +/- 2mm different than our standard sizes, your new door will still work. (We allow -5mm from the height of the cabinet and -4mm from the width. E.g. 720H x 600W cabinet will have a 715H x 596W door). +/-2mm from these would still work. Going with a standard size will save you a lot of money!
